Level 2: Resource Management

The name of this level really does describe the level as you have to be very careful with how you use the holes. This is a puzzle based level, so enjoyment comes from figuring out how to solve the level. I recommend that you attempt to solve this level by yourself, but if you can’t figure it out then read on.

Climb up either ladder and cross the chain along the top of the screen I order to reach the portable hole that is located on the thick platform of brick. You can now drop off either side of the brick and move down to get the hole. Drop off the platform. You will be grabbing onto a chain. Drop a hole on either side and then drop down. Drop another hole on the same side that you earlier dropped a hole. Run through the pair of holes and grab the floating energy crystal.

Climb back up the ladder and cross the chain to the doubly thick platform. Drop off the platform on the other side so that you can grab the other portable hole. Continue moving down to the chain. Retrieve the hole the edge hole that you created earlier then place a hole on the other side. Drop down and retrieve the other hole that you dropped earlier and place it on the other side.

As we now have both floating energy crystals, we can recover the lower hole by climbing back up to the top, crossing the chain along the top of the screen and dropping down to one of the two V like structures. Work your way to the bottom platform. Do not recover the edge hole as you will need it to get out. You can recover the lower hole, though. Run out the edge hole once you have recovered the hole.

Climb up the rope and cross the chain just enough to drop down to the leftmost protruding ledge. Drop a hole and then drop down to the chain. While holding on to the chain, drop a hole over the brick on your left. You can now drop down and recover the two energy crystals and the portable hole. You will need to recover both the holes. The hole beside the chain can be grabbed from the chain (obviously you will have to climb up the ladder and cross over on the chain then drop through the hole to do this) and you can walk over the brick to get out. The hole on the protruding ledge is also obvious on how to retrieve.

Do the exact same thing with the right side as you did with the left side (except hole is in other direction). With all the energy crystals recovered, the exit appears. Go back to the doubly thick platform and drop a hole over the exit and another hole right beside it. Drop into the holes and drop a hole over the exit then go through the hole to exit the level.
