Blazing Games - Ultimate Retro Project - Volume 4 - Episode 41
Page Last Updated: March 7, 2008
What is a cipher? Quite simply it is a way of keeping written messages secret by changing the order of the alphabet when writing the message. For instance, I could be represented by B and T could be represented by R so the word "it" would be written "br". While this technique of obscuring text is simple to use, it is also simple to break. This game revolves around breaking a cipher so you can read the message.
This game is requires Java 1.1 or better to run. Browsers that support 1.1 tend to be 4.x or better versions. Windows XP users may have to download a Java plug in to use Java applets.
