To demonstrate Blazing Games Inc.'s commitment to Blazing Games users privacy, I am disclosing information on its privacy practices.
Currently the only personal information that that is gathered from users is the name, email addresses and the content of emails sent to Blazing games of those people who have sent email to any of the BlazingGame.com email addresses. Voting does not store any personal information (as none is needed to vote) but does store the IP address the vote came from and the time for purposes of handling fraudulent voting if such action is deemed necessary.
Email messages that are deemed of interest or for which a reply has been made are stored for future reference. The information in the email is kept confidential. If at some time I wish to publicly display all or part of the email message, the writer of the email will be asked first.
Users who have requested to be informed of when the content of the site or when a particular section of the site has been updated will be added to the appropriate address list and will then be emailed updates related to the information that they requested. If an email bounces back twice or the user requests to be removed from the list, they will be removed from that address list.
We use third-party advertising companies to serve ads when you visit our Website. These companies may use information (not including your name, address email address or telephone number) about your visits to this and other Web sites in order to provide advertisements about goods and services of interest to you. If you would like more information about this practice and to know your choices about not having this information used by these companies, http://www.networkadvertising.org/managing/opt_out.asp
Like most standard Web site servers we (or more particularly the ISP that hosts my site) use log files. This includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the site, track user's movement in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses, etc. are not linked to personally identifiable information.
I may need to disclose personal information when required by law or where I have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a current judicial proceeding, a court order or legal process served on our Web site.
Currently Blazing Games does not gather any sensitive information that would require use of SSL.
This is a living document, so the contents may change. I will attempt to post notices about any changes in this document in my news section.
