Classic Light Box

Put your reverse engineering skills to use

Overview

Light Box is a Black Box puzzle. This type of puzzle revolves around trying to recreate the way something works without being able to see the internals of the object. The light box uses light traveling through special prisms. These prisms will split the light if it goes through the base, bend the light if it goes in through either side so that the light goes out the base. Light going in through the point passes through the prism.

To test the box, players launch beams through specific slots to see where the beam exits. Likewise, an automated test suite can be used to find out which slots do not match.
