Blazing Games - Ultimate Retro Project - Volume 4 - Episode 42
Page Last Updated: March 14, 2008
For those of you who skip the classic versions of the Ultimate Retro Project games, a cipher is a way of keeping written messages secret by changing the order of the alphabet when writing the message. For instance, M could be represented by B and E could be represented by R so the word "me" would be written "br". While this technique of obscuring text is simple to use, it is also simple to break. This game revolves around breaking a cipher so you can read the message. Of course, as this is the modern version of the game you do this by dragging letters between the source row and the results row to form connections.
This game is requires Java 1.1 or better to run. Browsers that support 1.1 tend to be 4.x or better versions. Windows XP users may have to download a Java plug in to use Java applets.
