Blazing Games - Ultimate Retro Project - Volume 2 - Episode 16
Page Last Updated: April 1, 2006
Blackjack is one of those games that every casino has. It is, in fact, one of the most popular casino games. This is because the game is easy to play and very quick to play. On thing about blackjack is that a basic strategy for winning the game has been developed. By using this strategy you will drastically reduce the house edge, lowering the amount of money that the casino takes from you.
The game doesn't give you a cash limit, but instead tracks your winning and losing record. You then go through the betting loop. First you choose bet the amount. This is done by clicking chips on the bottom of the bet popup window to add to your bet and clicking on chips in the top row to reduce your bet. You are then dealt cards. You then get to select from the active (blue) buttons what action you wish to take.
Aces count as one or eleven. Face cards count as ten. The goal is to get as close to 21 as possible If you are dealt 21 you have a natural and get paid 3 to 2.Getting over 21 is a bust, and the hand is lost. You win if you beat the dealer's hand. Dealers must draw until they have 17 or better.
