Introduction

Slot Machines, commonly known as one-arm bandits, were originally created as amusement for the spouses of gamblers. As the machines advanced and the payouts increased, these machines became more and more popular. Now in most casino's, slot machines outnumber table games by a large margin. Why? They make more money for the casino then table games do. Payouts on most slot machines are far worse than that of most table games. Why do people play these games?
