Level 1: Slots

This is a simple reflex level, though in an attempt to help balance the playing field, there are fake floors all through the level. This helps to balance the level as the slime will use these trap doors while the player probably does not know where they are.

Solving this level is very easy, though it does require that the player be on his or her toes as soon as the level starts. Simply climb down to where the crystal is and grab the crystal while moving onto the rope as quickly as possible. Slide down the rope and get the bottom energy crystal before heading up to get the top crystal. The reason for this is due to the placement of fake floors, which makes it easier for the slime to get caught up with you when you are grabbing the top crystal. The goal here is to try to get a slot or two ahead of the slime.

When you do head for the top crystal, grab it and start moving down the ladder as quickly as you can. Your goal is to get the middle crystal in the brick. I then head for the lower grass crystal, and follow that with the lower metal crystal then head up and grab both the upper grass crystal and the upper metal crystal and quickly run back to the rope and down to the brick energy crystal. The last three crystals are pretty linear in their placement, and the exit is in the top right corner.
