Dead River

The first thing that you are going to have to do here is to find four Mudokons. Near the vending machine, you will find one. If you look, you will notice the second on a bridge between two rocks near the center of the town. You will need to use the bounce vending machine to get him. On one of the spiral platform rocks right by the chant rings you will notice the third. On the broken bridge leading to the spiral you will find the fourth (and will again probably want to use bounce to reach him).

Now, there are 4 sleeping sligs that you have to contend with. You can use your 4 mudokons, or simply possess them. If you then continue on past the minefield (but not over the wall), you will find a resurrection totem as well as a transformation shrine to transform your mudokons into warriors.

Now, across the wall is a lever that opens the well on this side. The well sends the creature to the lake, which won't harm them as it is empty. Activate the lever (by either doing a quick run over the wall or through possession. Then through your troops into the well. If you didn't eliminate the walking sligs, you may have a bit of a fight on your hands, but it is a minor skirmish. You will notice a Archer Transformation Shrine near where you landed. Take advantage of it and build a troop of archers. You can then use the archers to work your way towards the water shrine which is just past the slig guards. Just follow the route and expect some really neat laser battles.

You may optionally want to activate the Zappers (as sligs get spawned this level. Get your troops into the water shrine, and use eight mudokons (one is already at the shrine, and you should have had seven) to activate the water shrine. If there is a wall of explosives blocking your way just out of the mudokon zone take your army back to where you entered and start climbing the platforms along the cliff. There may be a slig on a platform. Possess him if so, if not possess one of the sligs on the other side of the crates. Use them to blow up the crates.

Now, with the route open, you will have to switch to munch. Have him jump into the well. Once he is in the lake, he will have to jump over some mines to get over a wall to the other side. There he will find a lever. Pull the lever to open a door that will give Abe and company access to this area then have Abe's army take out the sligs. Find a lever at the at the end of the lake past all the sligs to open up the exit. Get Abe and Munch to the exit.

No Mud's Land

Despite the fact that there was very little Munch in this level, I enjoyed it.

Start by jumping up on a rock and then onto the cliffs above you. There are lots of spooceshrubs and you will need a lot of spooce later. Once done collecting spooce, jump onto the pair of metal circles. Work you're way to the door with spooce on it. Look down and you will see an area filled with metal platforms, kegs, and sligs. One possible solution is to jump down to the metal platforms and throw kegs at the sligs, but that's not my plan this time around.

Start walking across the spooce door. Look down to your right. More sligs. Possession works well for clearing out this area, but that's not have in mind this time (at least not directly).
Finish crossing the doorway and look down. Mines, crates of explosives, sligs, one of those dreaded chant suppressors, and a keg on a metal platform above them. Again, throwing the keg is a possibility, but that's not my plan this time.

Walk along the cliff until you can see into the next area. Crates and sligs. And if you look across the doorway, a keg. You should know what one possible clearing solution is and probably already guessed that it's not my plan. Still, walk across the doorway to the keg. Look down to the mined river, bridge blocked by land mines and crates, and slig guards. One of the guards is a BigBro, and he is standing near the crates.

My strategy is to possess the Big Bro. Blow up the bridge crates while standing on the door panel. Shoot the crates across the bridge. Now shoot the slig standing by the Health-up vending machine. Walk through the now open door and shoot the crates. If you are lucky it will take out the sligs with it. if not shoot them. Go to the next door pad. Again shoot crates and any surviving sligs. You may want to hurry past any mines as they probably already exploded so will respawn shortly. Stand on the next door pad. Shoot the sligs. Go to the next door plate. Shoot the sligs. Stand on the final door plate, and release the BigBro from possession.

Quickly move munch to where the slig was. Now, comes the race part. What you have to do is to get both Abe and munch near the water. The fastest way to do this is to jump down to the door pad near the water then run to Munch's room, get munch to race out, then have Abe race out. As long as one of them is by the water, you can quickly reach the other one and get back out (key word here is quickly). If you get stuck inside, remember that Abe can always jump up the platforms to get onto the cliffs again.

Now that you have Abe and Munch near the water and have collected all the spooceshrubs (you did do that, didn't you) you have to worry about the surviving guards on the other side of the bridge. I just posses them myself. Now cross the water and open the spoocelock.

There are a couple of ways to go from here. One is to go invisible and use the land-based well to get into the compound and then hide in a corner and possess sligs. The other way is to use go invisible, pull the lever on the metal platform near entrance, enter the base through the front door, and pick up the sligs and throw them on land mines. In either case, you will notice that there is an area blocked by crates. There are land mines near the crates so throwing a slig on one of those land mines is a convenient way of opening up that area. Within that area is a bunch of sligs, a Big Bro, a closed door, and a lever. It doesn't matter how you get rid of the sligs/Big Bro, as long as you get that lever pulled. It opens up a door that is blocking the lever to the door in this area.

So you are probably wondering, if the door to this area is opened by a lever that we can't reach, how do we open the door so Abe can get through? That's where Munch comes in (yeah!). Have Munch jump into the well that was opened by the spoocelock. He can then reach the lever, pull it, then return back by using the well near where he appeared. I recommend returning, as when I leave Munch up there a slig inevitably found and killed Munch while I was working with Abe.

Now that the other door is open, Abe can create a possession sphere. Bypass the sligs guarding the now open door and instead go for the BigBro. I have no problems taking out all the sligs with the BigBro. If not, you can always possess other sligs once the BigBro is out of commission. Once the area is clear, Abe can easily work his way to the ladders, and go to the rooftop well. This will land you next to a lever, as well as what I think is the best quote of the game. Pull the lever to activate your exits then have Abe and Munch go to their exit spot.

Boiler Room

First have munch use the remote control to control the crane. Use the crane to get rid of as many sligs as possible by dropping them on mines. Now have him pick up Abe (you may need to move Abe to an appropriate position first) and drop him by the lever. Abe can pull the lever and then throw some kegs on the remaining sligs in that area.

Now, run out to where the scrubs are working. Head towards the invisibility vending machine. A slig should spot you. Run back to the switch pedestal and climb up it throwing kegs at the slig. Head back to Munch and throw him over the mines. Munch can now work his way to the invisibility vending machine. Become invisible, then move past the sleeping guards and climb up the ladder to the second remote control machine. You won't be able to get a lot of the guards with this machine, but you will be able to get some of them. Clear out all the guards you can, then go back to Abe.

Have Abe drink some invisibility then join Munch on the platform. You will notice that there is a guard sleeping around a bunch of spooceshrubs on either end of the platform. Use kegs to get rid of those two guards and get the spooceshrubs. At this point you can also throw kegs at the sligs below or you can get them later.

Now you can head to the room that had the two columns of boxes and a lever in it. Pull the lever. That opens a doorway. Follow the hallway that the door opens to and you should come to the scoreboard. Create a possession ball and possess the BigBro that is down the hall from you. Have him go around the corner and take out the two BigBros that are there (getting behind them and then shooting works really well). Once they are taken care of, you can go through the facility and retire any remaining sligs. If the BigBro is still alive at this point have him stand next to the wall of explosive crates near the scoreboard and shoot it. If the BigBro has retired before you blow up the crates, use the keg as there are a bunch of scrubs behind the crates.

Now that all the security is taken care of, gather up all the scrubs and take them to the escape portal (around the corridor where the two Big Bros were). You will notice that there is a bounce vending machine there as well. Use it and then jump over the wall. The Bounce machine gives you a ridiculously short amount of time here and I'm not sure why such a stupid design decision was made here, especially since you use the same button to activate the machine as to jump so if you try jumping right away you will just grab another can. Annoying, but you can suffer through this.

On the other side of the wall is a spoocelock. Unlock it. Now climb up the ladder and make the manager make a donation. The exit is above the escape portal. It took me a while to find it the first time I played this level, which is why I'm pointing it out. Climb back down the ladder, drink some bounce, jump over the wall and get Abe and Munch to the exits.

Splinterz Manufacturing

Have Abe stand on the door pad. Move munch to the pad through the door. Now have Abe move to the next pad, taking a moment to look at the scrub who is on a high ledge. This scrub was really hard to find so remember him for later in the level (you need bounce to reach him). Now have Munch drink some zap and go to the next room. Zap the sligs onto the mines to quickly dispose of them. Now go back and stand on the door plate. Move Abe through the door and then pick up Munch and throw him over the mines. Jump over the other set of mines and throw the keg over the edge to get rid of the wall of explosive crates. Now get over to munch and stand on the next pad. Move munch through the door to the next pad. Have Abe pick up Munch and throw him over the gap in the floor. Jump over the gap yourself, pick up Munch, and throw him over the mines. Jump over the mines and stand on the door pad. Have Munch drink zap then take care of the two sligs in the next room.

Now, Abe can pick up spooceshrubs. The chant suppressors don't reach Abe if he is next to the Blitz Packer machine, so he is able to take over the BigBro. As Sligs are regenerated this level there is not much you can do with the BigBro other than use it to lure the sligs away from the levers. You have to get 5 scrubs to the levers. If you don't greet them, but instead just carry them to the levers, they won't attack sligs and wont be directly attacked. How you get the five workers is up to you, but I carry five of them to the levers, while being shot at and using Munch to regenerate me when I die. If you know a better way, let me know.

Pull the levers. The door leading to the CEO office is now open, as well as the door leading to the escape portals. There are 2 sligs in there, possess them and have them do suicide runs on the other sligs. Now, use Bounce to reach the CEO door. Follow the path, jumping over the mines, until you can see the BigBro guarding the door. Possess him and use the B button to have him open the voice lock. Have him enter, pull the lever, and take out all the crates and sligs. More sligs regenerate but if you keep shooting them they eventually stop regenerating. Now have Abe stand on the pedestal with the door pad on it and make the CEO donate his moola. Remember you can make the possession orb jump with the A button.

By the voice lock is a ladder. Take the ladder down and rescue the three scrubs that are surrounded by mines (I assume this is just to make this sequence extremely annoying, as I can see no other reason why the designer would do this). Now, return to the main factory floor and get the other scrubs. Now get Abe and Munch to the exit and then watch the movie.
