Wasn’t I over there a second ago?

The number 3 is considered to be a magical or lucky number by some cultures. While I am not a superstitious person, I also don’t feel that obeying a superstitions hurts. Besides, with the room number LCD display, an obvious third game mode came to my mind.

The second mode makes the game significantly more challenging because you have to modify a sequence that you are trying to memorize in real time. To add a bit more difficulty to this task, we simply need to start the player over in a random room. The LCD already exists so all the mechanisms for handling this exist.

In practice, however, one simply only reeds to refresh the whole sequence in their mind every time they restart, causing this mode to become a quick playing version of the second game mode. I didn’t realize this until the mode was added (a new menu button, and a couple of lines of code) but found that even though it doesn’t make the game more challenging, it is still a fun mode to play.
