Playing the Game

The game starts with a location selection screen. You simply select where you wish to have your stand for that day. Once the location has been selected, you are moved to the main screen. This lets you adjust the price of your products, but remember that you have to actually have the materials to make the products before you can start selling anything. Along the bottom of the screen are your various options. You can get your current inventory (which at the start of the game is nothing), go to the newspaper to get a better sign and/or place a newspaper ad, go to the store to get the materials you need to run your stand, open the stand for an hour, or end the day.

The first thing you are going to have to do is get groceries as you start off without any. Remember that customers will always buy both food and drink so make sure you have both. Hotdogs require three components to build. You need the weiner (regular sized or big), an appropriate sized bun for the weiner, and the topping which can be chili, condiments, or cheese. The foot long hotdogs will use up twice the amount of toppings as regular hotdogs.

The newspaper lets you buy ads for the following day. The bigger the ad, the more people will pass by your stand. The sign helps determine how many people will bother buying food from you. The better the sign, the more attractive your booth will be. Signs last the duration of the game but you can always upgrade to a better sign if you don't have the best.

The goal of the game is to save up $5000, which is a lot easier to do in the game than it is in real life.
