Drop Dead goes Gold

My final burst of activity for this game happened between 18:00 and 19:30

This update consisted of a bunch of minor tweaks. First, the no points message was shortened so it fits within the message bar. Next, the message bar now reflects the player who is playing. Changing skip button to done. Having the done button automatically move all the dice back up to the top so that the ending results for the last player are all in a line and so the next player doesn't have a bunch of dead signs before they have even rolled. This last point is very minor but if it reduces any potential confusion that players have then it is worth putting into the game. Finally, I tweaked the opening animation.

The work to tweak the game took about half an hour. The next step was taking proper screen shots, writing instructions, getting the official game page assembled, and most important of all, taking a look at the time before I posted all of this and updating the top paragraph.

My final thoughts on this game is that it is more fun to play with real dice than on the computer, but if you are not familiar with the game and want to play around with it then this computer version is ideal. It should not have taken as long as it did, even when you take all my breaks into account. I guess the lesson that can be learned here is that when your mind is not on the task at hand, the task at hand may take longer than it should. At least today went a long way towards me catching up on my pod cast listening.

The final game is on the game's play page, which is located here . Enjoy the game. If you prefer these live game in a days over game in a day challenges that I do when I am in the proper state of mind then email and let me know otherwise this might be the last live game in a day challenge that I do.
