Level 7: Vertically Challenged

Here is another puzzle based level. It really isn’t a hard puzzle once you deal with the slime. In fact, you don’t even have to destroy the slime. You do have to be careful at the start otherwise you can trap yourself. For those of you having trouble, here is a walkthrough.

First, climb the rope to the left of where you start up to the brick platform. Walk left until you fall onto the chain. This is where you have to be careful. Move along the chain to get the hole. Get back on the chain and drop the hole over the brick. Move over the other portable hole then drop onto it. Walk through the hole to the rope and wait for the slime to get close. Climb up the rope to the brick platform and run across it. The slime should be really close to you when you reach the edge of the platform and drop down onto the chain. Drop again and run through the activated hole. The slime will be trapped behind the activated hole.

Move yourself to the far right of the screen. Climb up the ladder. Go to the ladder to the left of you and climb it. Now drop a hole anywhere above the four holes. Gather the holes. Once you have all four holes, drop one to get out of there. You now need to recover holes. This is actually pretty easy. First climb up the ladder and recover the hole you used to get at the other holes. Now drop a hole on the left edge of the structure. Move down a rung on the ladder and drop a hole right below the first hole. You now are able to recover the escape hole. Once you have recovered it, you can recover the two holes you used to get it.

With the five holes in hand, head to the rope. At the top of the rope drop a hole, and move down a notch. Continue dropping holes and moving down until you have used all five of the holes and have exposed the platform. Grab the two energy crystals and recover at least three of the holes.

Move to the ladder on the far right. Climb up to the first brick platform. Run to the ladder on the left and climb up. Use the chain to get to the platforms in the middle of the screen. Drop a hole directly above the floating energy crystal and jump through to get the crystal. Repeat for the other two crystals and then climb the ladders to the exit.
